TV Shows of Childhood #1

I freakin loved this show, mostly because I had a school girl crush on Randolph Mantooth. Those wacky 70's first responders!

I loved that show because back in the day their equipment was very high-tech.

I've been watching the Today show this week and they've highlighted old 70s and 80s TV shows all week long. They had the cast of 8 is Enough and 227! Those were the two that I saw. They tried to get The Brady Bunch Kids but Jan and Marsha are actually feuding! That was back when life was simpler and stars were really stars and had talent. Pre Kardashian days!!!

My mom watched that show when I was small. Those were back in the days when parents didn't think anything of letting their young children see whatever grown-up show they happened to be watching at the time. See, I know for a fact this is bad, because I still have memories of a.)being scared of a fire I saw on TV in the house we lived in until I was 4, and b.)an episode of Emergency where a lady got her big toe stuck in her bathtub faucet (what the what?!) and a fireman guy had to go in and rescue her, and was all embarrassed b/c she was naked and in the bath. (Of course, on the show she was covered with bubbles and you couldn't see anything. But the awkwardness was apparent and I remember being totally weirded out by the episode!)
