See?!?!? See?!?!!?

ConAgra Foods Inc. recalled all its Banquet pot pies and store brand varieties Thursday after the products were linked to nationwide salmonella outbreak.

Like I said below . . .

Cargill or ConAgra don't equal good food!

Who actually feeds their families pot pies in the 21st century? A good homemade pot pie maybe, but a Banquet? In the 70's, my mom would reluctantly buy pot pies for us because we thought they were fun. I'm sure she just hated how we would whine with our "Is It Ready?" every five minutes during the 45 minute prep time. I'll say it again- we're lucky my mom wasn't inclined to eat/kill/devocalize her awful children. We were terrible kids.

We were too - what a bunch of spoiled whiners! My sibs and I agree that Mom should have just lined us up every morning and cracked us each on the head with a rolling pin. We were each going to deserve it later in the day.
And yes, ick, Banquet Pot Pies in 2007? Remember Banquet frozen fried chicken? Those things have about 33,000mg of sodium per serving! I feel guilty using low sodium, low fat cream on anything soup an occasion but I'd never feed my kids such frozen horrors.
