Above is the famous State Street.
While walking this funky avenue I took photos of several business windows:
Above is me, on the Capital grounds. I talked with several sign-carriers and thanked them for continuing the fight. One gave me the "SOLIDARITY" arm band I'm wearing. I wore it proudly for the rest of the day. We were there on a Sunday/Monday so the large crowds were gone. Evidently Saturday is action day.

Well crap. If I would read blogs on a more regular basis I would have seen you were going to Madison for a college visit...and then I could have called my BIL and his girlfriend and told them to give you a tour of all the hot spots. As it is, I totally missed the boat. Hope you enjoyed the campus!
I totally beleive that there are WAY more people against him than for him and his band of fools.
sigh
Wish we could have said that with Bachman's re-election.
Wow, love all the signs in the windows of the local businesses.
Yay! You went! I'm glad to see the businesses supporting the solidarity efforts. If we cut jobs and salaries and all the rest, who is going to be able to support the small businesses? I suck at economics and even I get that.
Good for you. I know so many people who will be affected by Walker's douchebaggery.
Are you EVER going to blog again?
Girl what's going on across the country... the attack on middle class families is unreal. I hope we folks sitting in "middle class" will stand up when it's time to vote and get those folks out of office!
You go girl. I love Mad-town. Spent many foggy weekends there when I was in college in MN.
All's fine and dandy, but the last sigh is civically ignorant. Sorry, shop owner or whomever it is. It's still democracy even when the other guy wins.
