Cheap Vacations

Great cheap vacations coming up this summer. Here are photos from the last visit there.
My sister's friends bought 3 cabins of an old resort on a tiny crystal clear lake north of Park Rapids. In exchange for a little maintenance they are letting us use the cabins again for FREE in late July!

In July we are meeting Johnny C's New York family in Duluth! We got a great deal on a cottage/house combo right on Lake Superior, on Park Point. The Italians meet the Northwoods.

I think everyone should vacation in the Northwoods at least once in their lives.

Except, of course, for black flies. They should go south and stay there.

It looks really nice!

You should fix that typo in your post, it should read "dream" vacations. Seriously, a cabin on a lake? How awesome is that.

My two most favorite vacations spots/types. Beats flying to Europe!

I love cheap vacations...They're the only kind I can afford to take. Our favorite is to go to Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wisc. It's about 20 minutes to the Dells, so we camp at Devil's lake and if we have enough money, we go to a water park one of the days we're there. If not, we just swim, hike and canoe at the park.

Have fun and take lots of pictures while you are there :)

2006We go twice a year somewhere with friends and have a timeshare that costs us maintenance fees each year. If T-bone or I lost our jobs I bet we would sell the timeshare. :( But when we go with friends it costs us about $150 each for winter cabin for four nights and whatever camping fees are in the summer. We found WI parks are cheaper than MN - so we are going to White River this year.

This is great. Girl we're going camping. We gotta do something on the "cheap". That big rat in Florida won't be getting any of our money any time soon. We should all go on vacations like this. It's all bout spending time with family anyway and not dumping a bunch of money into a rat's pocket. This looks like more fun anyway (SIDENOTE: Can you tell I just looked at the prices for a Disney vaca?)
