This is not support

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The rate of suicides among active duty soldiers is on pace to surpass both last year's numbers and the rate of suicide in the general U.S. population for the first time since the Vietnam war, according to U.S. Army officials.

Not exactly "supporting the troops" is it, Dubya??

Dismal, isn't it? And that's not domestic violence rates. Or homelessness rates among vets. Violence begets violence. Lord have mercy on our nation.

I just noticed your "truthiness" label. I love it!

How shameful. How do people like Bush/Cheney sleep at night?

They gave them something to do while in uniform didn't they? That's all the support they need from the Republicans.

Border explorer said it best: violence begets violence. I don't understand how a world that holds such great intelligence could still dare to believe war can bring peace. It will never make sense. Ever.

Duh, that way they don't have to fund the VA. The problem just sort of works itself out.
