A teabagger challenge

I'm just gnashing my teeth over these teabaggers and their evil Queens the Bachmann/Palin Overdrive.

Why don't they just admit it? This has nothing whatsoever to do with taxes, and everything to do with a legally elected Liberal, and a BLACK ONE at that, sitting in the White House? They are throwing a gigantic tantrum, and I know a tantrum when I see one.

Teabaggers - answer me this:

1. Show me the taxes you claim have gone up. Payroll taxes are down, tax credits are up.

2. Where the HELL were you when W was raising the federal deficit to historic highs?

3. Where the HELL were you when W starting illegally spying on American citizens?

4. Where the HELL were you when Bush expanded the powers of the Executive branch, in direct opposition to our Constitution?

5. I thought you all considered protesting to be unpatriotic? I thought you considered criticizing the President the same as treason? Suddenly changed your minds? Or don't you have a mind to change? And what's that favorite old slogan of yours - love it or leave it??

Frankly, I defend their right to protest. As long as they aren't violent or aren't using violent language. But for Pete's Sake would our media quit treating them like it's a nation-wide movement? And anything hyped up by FOX news and their ilk is NOT a grass roots movement. These people are a disgrace - such ignorance and sheer racism.

Well said, I am saving this to send to some other people if you don't mind.

Exactly. And I guess that there wasn't Fox news then. I remember our tax guy saying that when there was the Regan tax cut that none of his clients had any reduction. All is illusion.

Taxes are going to go up at the end of 2010...higher capital gains and reduction of child tax credit and increased taxes on those making more than $250K. The bigger concern is the debt/deficit. Bush had a total of 2.9 trillion in deficit spending over 8 years-Obama's deficit spending in 2 years will be 3.5 trillion. When Bush came into office, the national debt was 5.7 trillion and he added 4.9 trillion for a total of 10.6 trillion when he left. The national debt is now approaching 13 trillion so Obama has added 2.4 trillion in less than 2 years. That's the big concern, the debt/deficit problem in very unstable economic times.

Exactly how much of Obama's deficit came from simply putting Bush's wars ON THE FREAKING BOOKS IN THE FIRST PLACE?

And Taraj, lots of Obama's spending was a necessary evil to clean up the giant economic mess made by 8 years of republican rule and corporate greed. Lots of people became very wealthy during that time, and it wasn't the average taxpayer.

And what Kirby said is exactly right.

That was one hell of a mess that Bush left for Obama to clean up but the teabaggers refuse to consider this. And yes, Bush broke the constitution and Obama has not quite fixed that yet.

Yeah. The teabaggers had a little rally here in Iowa City and most people just walked by and laughed at them. I love it that their name is the teabaggers and most of them don't seem to know what that means.

Girl we gonna have to all get to the doctor to get some blood pressure medication to get our levels regulated to be able to deal with these damned tea baggers.

When the Black Panther party carried shot guns and protested against the government they were a threat to national security. The Tea Baggers do it and they are just exercising their civil rights.
