I really hope it's not just me

I'm starting to think the air freshener we use in the bathroom is worse than the smell we're trying to cover up.

Sometimes my husband's breath smells like an old man, and I don't want to kiss him. My breath, on the other hand, always smells like mint and unicorns.

I'm still absolutely shocked at how old I am.

I completely LOVE taking naps on our couch with my big green blanket.

I hate flossing my teeth and have to force myself every single night.

Each and every year reminds me what an utter dork I am, and I don't know whether to be proud or a tad bit upset.

I picked out my couch based on the nap-ability!

That's quite some free-association you've got going on there. And then there's the bio-textbook picture of the heart. Yikes.

Embrace your dorkitude.

We're not the same mid-40's as our parents. That said, I'm sure your children dont' appreciate that.

What does a unicorn smell like?

Gah! I'm old too. My birthday is on Sunday, and I'll be 38. That is undeniably close to one's 40s. Of course, you're in your 40s and you're my role model, so it can't be all that bad.

You crack me up! I thought of you last night when I was in bed. (Sounds racy, no?"

I was so comfy in that hotel bed. Then I thought of you and your ultra firm nightmare. And mine. And I thought - wah!!!! I don't want to go home!

Maybe that bad bed is why you love naps on the sofa so much?

Darling dork,

I lay next to my husband, and listen to his snoring, which he admits, and I do not.

I hate washing my face, like you do flossing, but I do it. My daughter does, so don't I?

You are an inspiration MN Mom.
