And so IT starts

We had snow flurries here today, yes, you read that right, SNOW flurries! They were pretty, but I have a strict policy that snow must stay within a December 1st through March 31st time boundary. Winter in Minnesota just doesn't know it's place! Luckily the ground is far too warm for any accumulation but it's just another warning that IT is coming. IT is 10 below with a wind-chill factor of 40 below.

Know what else is coming? . . . The President Barack Obama Administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like winter snow and cold in Minnesota - you can count on it!

I'll take the Obama administration, you keep the cold and the snow.

I spent the weekend with old college friends and we're all really, really excited about it all.

And poor old sad sack John McCain is out there saying he believes he can turn this thing around in the next nine days.

i'd vote for snow between late december and the end of march. i like snow for christmas, but not too much before.

it was nasty this morning, i agree. but this afternoon we took the boys on a long walk. quite blustery, but not that bad. i think the sky was attempting to clear.

My arthritis says NO TO SNOW!! I just hurt when it rains and snows, although I love the "look" of snow. But I can agree on the last thought - OBAMA/BIDEN - all the way!!

Hi, MNMom! Just came for a visit.

You're generous to allow snow to stay through March. I'm ready for it to go away by... I don't know, February?

I know it's a burden, but I'm sure it's what's given us northern gals such warm hearts.

Still none here yet, but I expect it any day. Crap.

I like the white stuff on the ground and the brown guy in the White House. Unlike the simpering weatherphobes who seem to have commented already, I embrace both with equal fervor - though neither with half as much delight as I'll have next Tuesday in the voting booth.

We had snow up here this morning too. We usually get our first snow at the beginning of October, so I'm not complaining.

I usually look forward to winter, but this year I'm worried about paying the heating bills. :(
