"Your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs. You never win playing defense, get on offense! The crossfire is intense, so penetrate enemy territory. Use your weapons. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win. No matter how tough it gets, never retreat, instead reload!"

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) "If I could start a country with a bunch of people it would be the folks standing out here the last few days. Let’s hope we don’t have to do that. Let’s beat that other side to a pulp. Let’s take them out, let’s chase them down."
On the gay community and same-sex marriage: “This is a very serious matter, because it is our children who are the prize for this community, they are specifically targeting our children.” — Senator Michele Bachmann, appearing as guest on radio program “Prophetic Views Behind The News”, hosted by Jan Markell, KKMS 980-AM, March 20, 2004.
"You know, our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government. And in fact Thomas Jefferson said it's good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years.
I hope that's not where we're going, but, you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out."

You are amazing.
How dare you point out their hateful violent rhetoric. It might get a liberal all worked up enough to do something about them.
Some words to go with your artful arrangement of chilling quotations and images.
The attention whores who originally spoke or wrote the words you feature should be made to again speak them in public with the country watching them, in the context of today.
Wow. That is pretty damn scary.I can't imagine anyone wanting to be part of that movement. It's all so negative and violent. Ugh!
It makes me sick. Just sick - all of it.
Nicely done.
You put in a tremendous amount of work on this.
I'd say their words have spoken for themselves. You can't take that stuff back. And apologize? That is not part of their DNA apparently.
I like Charlene's suggestion. Make them own it now.
In honor of the fairness doctrine: Howard Dean, "I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for." New Republic Editor wrote an article entitled, "The Case for Bush Hatred" and started the piece with the words, "I hate Pres Geo W Bush..." Bush was routinely called "Bushitler." Remember the "Kill Bush" slogan? Or this one, When Gov Bush was delivering his 2000 convention speech Craig Kilborn showed him on his show with the words "Sniper Wanted" underneath his picture. Kerry quote when responding to a Bill Maher joke, "or I could have went to 1600 Penn Ave and killed the real bird with one stone." Charlie Brooker once wrote during the Bush presidency, "John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinkley Jr..where are you now that we need you" Remember the movie "Death of a President?" I will refresh your memory...it's about the assassination of GWB. As a conservative...I will admit the rhetoric gets out of hand. I wonder if you can do the same. The hypocrisy is astounding.
PS- Who has made the claim there are no violent suggestions from the right. I think you misunderstand the issue. The right is on the defense because the left has made claims Jared Loughner killed people because of the hostile political climate caused by the right. We all know that is absolutely not the case. We also know the left is equally guilty when it comes to violent, inappropriate suggestions.
