This has been a killer summer so far.
I realize it's not attractive to complain but I just gotta do some kvetching!
First off my job is fun, but it's also 6 hours a day of putting out one fire after another. I'm working in a program with 250 kids between the ages of 5 and 14, and also supervising college and teen workers. I'm truly grateful for this position and I'm learning TONS but there's just no time to breathe.
Then I come home to become a nagging mother who just wants the dirty dishes and piles of crap picked up already.
Then you factor in this bizarre weather pattern. The tornado sirens have gone off more in the last month then they did in my first 47 years on Earth. And usually on the weekends.
And my bike makes so much noise that I actually attract attention. SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEALLLLL!!!!
Then there's still the extreme financial crisis. Remember I told you about our evil mortgage company and their even MORE evil Realtors? Remember how they refused our offer for $250G's to keep our home? Then refused our $190G's short sale offer cuz the Realtor said it was worth $30 or $40G's more? Well, they now have it on the market for $159,000. And we can't make an offer because we now don't qualify for a loan because they refused all our previous offers and ruined our credit.
Yeah, I'm stressed.

I kinda know how you feel. I come home from work and the house is a mess.
That bank is stupid, stupid, stupid. They lost money and ruined your financial chops. How do you spell stupid? B. A. N. K. S.
The only people who will screw you over faster than American business people are American Christians.
Gah! I can't believe your house is still on the market. Nor can I believe you cannot put in an offer on it. SO, SO UNFAIR!!!!! p.s. I think you should have my husband look at your bike!
Sis: Remember you said that you and SO would not go back?? Well, move on and
LET IT GO, THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!
Love you with all my heart and my big mouth!
My friend's offer for a house was turned down and one week later, the house was in foreclosure. She knows the owner. She can't understand the mortgage companies reasoning on this.
If I worked with that many kids all day long, I'd be totally worthless the rest of the day.
Wow. I'm ticked off for you about the house. What a load of crap. I'm sorry.
Did you get to the Attorney General yet? Ugh...so sickening.
Maybe you need some WD-40 on that bike?
I wish I had words of wisdom for you. I don't understand mortgage lenders at all.......ugh.
I'm thinking of you Margaret.
I'm heartsick for you, but I have to agree with your sister if she's talking about the house. Try not to look back. It's too hard.
I made the mistake of driving past our old house to see how it's doing now that it's once again reoccupied. Mistake. They're taking care of it, but they ripped out a lot of the landscaping we did and the garden is gone.
See? Don't look back.
Hugs to you.
I'm an American Christian...And don't look to screw people over. Margaret you're a survivor and we all can learn from you. Know there are many you can lean on....Mary.
