Things I've never done

I'm back. Weather here and there exactly the same. Being away from our phone was nice. Being with family was VERY nice.

On the drive home, I got to thinking about things I've never done but really, REALLY want to do someday. What does YOUR list look like?

I have never:
1. Been to Europe
2. Stayed in a 5-star hotel
3. Seen the Pacific Northwest
4. Seen the Grand Canyon
5. Had a Master's degree
6. Had a chocolate martini, or an apple one for that matter
7. Stayed in an English country manor
8. Been thin
9. Hiked the Gunflint Trail
10. Been stinking filthy rich.

My list would be so long it wouldn't even be funny.

Peace

I've never been to the East Coast before. I've also never really left the country. I've been to a border town in Mexico, but that doesn't count, since it wasn't much different than where I lived in Arizona.

I'd like to try being filthy rich for a while too. Can you imagine not having to worry about money? 95%.

Oops. That was supposed to say that 95% of the stress in my life is financial.

I've never been to Europe
I've never had a Master's Degree
I've never been thin...ugh!
I've never had that 6 months of living cash in the bank at one time.
By the same token,
Thankfully.......
I've never been really hungry
I've never been without a friend
I've never been so cold and had no place to go.
For everything I haven't done, I've got a list twice as long of the things I have done or the blessings I've been given.
Have a Great day!!

I ain't never tried to pay a bill on time. Ain't never engaged creditors when they call and try to "settle" with me. Ain't never tried to clear my credit. Those are all things I want to do someday, just not today. As I'm typing this blog, the phone is ringing and it's a 1-800 number. I wonder if "Discover" discovered where I now live

I um what? Yikes! I need a dictaphone in my car so I can answer this one. Though I like Anita's take.

And Sherlita!!!! You crack me up! Just tonight an 800 # was ringing on the new home phone number. Our youngest just sat there. When my husband asked why she wasn't answering it, she replied that we "don't answer 800 numbers, Dad."

So well trained at the tender age of 10. Thanks to a bankruptcy filing, though, those creditors will be paying us if they make the mistake of calling.

That's a line you will NEVER see at CPW! Sure as death & taxes.

#4: I just did for the first time! People always told me there's nothing like it, and now that I've done it I know what they mean. Pictures can't describe it.

#6: Oh honey, we need to sit down together some time. The appletini is like crack to most who visit me.
