Apparently I'm not the only one smitten with THE HAT! My youngest and I stumbled on the facebook fans of Aretha Franklin's Inauguration Hat and scrolled through the photoshop jobs. If you don't believe Americans are one hilarious group of people, go through the photos. Am I'm still LOVIN THAT HAT!

LOVE the American Gothic. I grew up about 20 minutes from that house. I know someone who was born in it. Last time I went there, the resident came out and gave us a pitchfork so we could pose for pictures. Then we got to go inside, where the guy has a display of a bajillion parodies (AG is the most-parodied painting in the world). I wonder if he has seen this one!
